Furniture

Here are a few pieces of our furniture Jody! At least what I could find online.

Our cocktail table is really cool the top lifts up and works like a table tray / scrapbook area!

This isn't exact, I bought a sofa table which is really tall, and only the width of one of the squares and it will go in my guest bathroom. They didn't have the actual pic.

This isn't our exact couch, but we did get a sectional. It had recliners on either end with real big arm rests! It is a lite khaki color. This was the closest I could find!

Wickes

This past weekend we bought all of our furniture for our downstairs living room in the new house. While we were trying to finish up with the paperwork, Logan was playing in their kids area. It isn't so much a play zone, but they had blocks and beds for him to climb in and out of! Definitely proof we are not ready for a big boy bed! Anyway, he loved these!

Wow, these are more proof that my child needs a haircut!

Swinging

There are no trees low enough and straight enough to put Logie's swing on either at my house or Grandma's.....so Grandpa Umlauf set it up in the barn. It is quite nice when it is about 90 degrees! Logie loves it!

Can you tell he needs a haircut!!!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a great weekend. It started off with the White Sox game. On Saturday, we went and picked out all of our new furniture for our downstairs living room, and on Sunday we spent the day with family. Monday, Tim and Dad went fishing and I went with mom shopping. It was a full weekend, but a very needed break! Here are a few pics from the weekend!

Grandpa had to move the tire swing after the big storm. The kids loved it!
We played bean bags for a while. We kept switching up the teams!

You would not believe how competitive the boys were!
Olivia did an awesome job!

Graham thought it was funny to try and distract people!
Logan was asleep for most of our games, but after he got up he was having more fun chasing the bean bags and sitting on the boards. He was also picking up sticks and throwing them in the holes, just like the adults!

Thank You Keith!

Friday was a great kick off to Memorial Day Weekend! Keith e-mailed Tim asking us what our plans were for the evening, long story short he had 4 great tickets to the White Sox game for that night! We couldn't refuse!! We ended up going with Julie and Deric while Grandma watched Logan. We had such a good time!!! The weather was perfect and it was a White Sox win! I have some pics here, but Julie had a ton on her camera because it could zoom in more! Check out her page by clicking on my friends link.

The last time Tim and I were at the cell, the World Series trophies were at the Illinois State Fair. We were excited to see them!

Julie thought the field looked small!
Unfortunately Mark didn't throw his 100th career win!

Thanks Keith for giving us fun weekend!

Memorial Garden

We went last weekend to Hillis' home to plant a memorial garden for Brad. Becky (his mom) had a lot finished, but then we all added our own perennial plants to give it a special touch. It isn't finished, but it is a really nice place.

Brad truly was super!

Behind

I am so far behind on posting pictures! I guess that's what happens when you are busy closing on two houses. One month from today we will be completely out of our new house and into our new one! Please pray everything goes smooth with both closings.

Why our new house doesn't have trees!

I went to mom and dad's this morning, and this is the mess they will be coming home to. Fortunately the mini-burst on Tuesday did no damage to the actual house!

Like Doggy, Like Logie

Logan loves going in our sunroom to play with his bigger toys. He was out there playing while I was unloading groceries from the car. I go out there to check on him and I couldn't find him anywhere! There isn't far for him to go because it leads into our fenced in backyard. I look in the yard and there he is chasing Beamer!! Here is how he got out there!

This is who should be using the door.

Uh-Oh!

Logan found Grandma's answering machine last week. He kept pushing the button to listen to messages. He thought it was so funny because Tim was on their, and he kept hearing daddy's voice. The mess on his face is a biter biscuit!

Kylie's Birthday Party

Logan and Brody had fun playing together at Kylie's birthday party. I think it was more fun for Logan, who was taking the toys from Brody. Brody was laughing though. Looks like we have our 2 little trouble makers.

Logan was also finding empty cups trying to drink out of them!

New Bike

Logan got a new bike from his Aunt Beth and Uncle Sean this past weekend. He loves it! It is the first bike that his feet actually touch the ground! He moves and pushes it all over! Thank you Aunt Beth and Uncle Sean!

6117 W. 135th

Well, it is official. We signed the paperwork last night for our new home! We will be closing on June 25th. The home is in Cedar Lake, only about a mile east of the actual lake. The subdivision is right across from Lemon Lake....and I'm only maybe 3 or 4 minutes from Julie! Yeah! I know there are pictures on century 21, but my school computer blocks those sight. If you wanna see a picture you can type in 6117 W. 135th Place, Cedar Lake, IN 46303.

Yippee!

Well, we have news to celebrate and news to pray about. We just had the offer on a house accepted! Woohoo! We are buying a house in Robin's nest subdivision! Yeah, I am so excited to be closer.

The praying part, we haven't sold our house! We had a showing yesterday and today and we are just praying that God will work this out.

Closure

Please continue to pray for the Groen family. They found Bruce on Wednesday morning. The family is going through an extremely tough time, but at least this will bring them some closure.
