Something Wrong?

This morning Tim stayed home with Logan so that I could do some running around Highland. Logan and I had a late night last night, and woke up way too early. Around 10:15 he had to get a time out so Tim put him in his bed. Around 10:30 Tim goes to check on him and here is what he found......

If you notice, there is no Logan.......

Logan had been reading under his bed and fell asleep!

About an hour later we heard footsteps, and he had crawled back in his bed to go back to sleep!

Great News!

We had some great news on Wednesday. I finally had Logan tested because he still isn't saying much other than a few words and phrases. They came to the house and spent about two hours with him and asking me questions. He tested around a 3 year old level for his cognitive skills (thinking) and was above average in everything else. His speech only missed age level by one point (they score with points). I thought he would test much lower than that! They also looked at his tongue and said it is not hindering his speech. In their opinion there is nothing wrong, it is just a delay and there is a good chance he will just start speaking in sentences (uh-oh!) I have still decided to go ahead and have him meet with a speech therapist to get the ball rolling. I meet again with them next Wednesday to discuss the frequency that will help out. Thank God for great news!

April What?

Isn't the month of April right around the corner. What is wrong with this picture here...just enough to be a pain!

New Table!!

My new kitchen table was finally delivered yesterday. I picked it out about 3 weeks ago and purposely had it delivered while I was on spring break. We have been going without a table since Saturday, but luckily we have the island to sit at. It is gorgeous, pics can't even do it justice - and it actually fits in my kitchen!

The top has 4 marble pieces in it, and the middle pulls out so that we can extend how many people we have at the table.

You can somewhat see the grain of the marble.

This morning before Church Logan dove right into his Easter basket. We ended up going to the later service because Daddy and Logan were having too much fun with the toys!

Snowy Easter Egg Hunt!

This morning our church had their annual Easter egg hunt for the kids. Unfortunately, due to the wonderful snow we got overnight, it had to be held indoors. It didn't matter to Logan, he had a ball!

For the 2 and 3 year olds they had it spread all over the gym.

Logan was getting so excited waiting he was jumping up and down on the sidelines!
Ready, Set, Go..... He would pick each thing up and look at it before putting it in his bag.

Scooby Doo, Blue (from Blues Clues), and the Easter Bunny were all there. Needless to say, he didn't like any of them except from a distance.
Yeah, I did good!
Afterwards, in the car, I let him hold onto the bag. I hear him saying nummy nummy and look back, he had eaten a hershey kiss.....the wrapper and all while he was sitting in his seat!

Logan's TWO!

Logan's 2nd birthday was yesterday! It is hard to believe he is already two. He was running all over the place saying two, two, two...even during his time in the nursery. We did everything except gifts, which we are doing tonight. This will probably be the last year we can do that! He was such a little ham and in a great mood all day.

He kept covering his face while we were singing! He never tried to touch the candles though!

We had been practicing blowing out candles all week and he kept doing it, until it was time to actually blow them out and daddy had to help!

He made sure no crumb was left unturned!

Yeah, I'm 2!!!

Reece's Birthday Party

Logie and I spent the day Saturday in Indianapolis. Meaghan's little girl Reece turned 1 earlier in the week. Logan had a blast playing on Auntie Meaghan's stairs!

Beautiful Day!

Yesterday was gorgeous outside. We haven't had any days that were really nice enough to go outside, but today was the day. Over the winter we got a new playhouse and a little tikes picnic table, so Logie had a lot in store for him. He was in heaven! He loved playing outside and has been miserable being cooped up. It was so fun to watch him run all over the yard chasing the dogs, playing in his playhouse, and just being a little boy!

He would run back and forth from thing to thing.

Birthday Pics

Tim has his work open houses this wekeend and today he had to be at the Indy warehouse. I decided since Logan's b-day is next week to attempt getting pics done before a mad Easter rush. I first picked up a few balloons to use with the pics, and it was quite interesting in the car. Logan loved it though!

Odd Comment

Is anyone else getting comments from a random person you don't know. I just had this really weird comment and don't know the person....I deleted the post and will repost Logan's birthday stuff tomorrow. Let me know!
