WOOHOO!!!!

Yeah! Our house appraised for the selling price and we have an official closing date. July 23rd at 3:00p.m. I don't think there is anything else to get in our way! This means...no double house payments!

On the flip side, we got our first house bill for the new house. What a relief, paying only one house bill!!!

Appraisal

Well, one more big step is out of the way. I met with the appraisor at our house in DeMotte this morning. He was very complimentary, so hopefully it will appraise for enough. I wouldn't be worried, except for the fact that we upped the price so we could help the buyers with their down payment and closing costs. Please pray that we get a full appraisal value, this way we can move to closing next week. Otherwise, we are stuck!

PTL!

Well, we got the call today! Our family trying to buy our house got their financing! Woohoo! One more hoop to jump through and that is the appraisal. It is scheduled for Wednesday morning at 11:00. please pray that it passes the appraisal, because we upped the price to compensate for us paying their closing and down payment. One last step and we can own only one home!!!!

Finally

There are no words to describe the relief of being completely moved in. Some people may be thinking, one or two days of chaos and poof, no big deal. I beg to differ. I have been packing, moving, and unpacking for about 6 weeks. And finally, i am completely done. No more boxes, no more moving trucks, just my new house (And 1 empty one, until it is sold.)
Thank you to all of our friends and family who helped us finally get this move finished. There is no possible way we could have done this without you all!

All of our furniture came in pieces, I think Logie enjoyed them more before they were put together.

Testing out the new stairs. It took 3 tumbles before he realized he needs to sit down instead of trying to stand and walk down them. That's what happens after spending the first 15 months of your life without stairs!

Helping Mommy

Only one more week until moving day! Woohoo! Logan has been helping Mommy pack all of our stuff up, and he decided it was time to take a water break!

Furniture

Here are a few pieces of our furniture Jody! At least what I could find online.

Our cocktail table is really cool the top lifts up and works like a table tray / scrapbook area!

This isn't exact, I bought a sofa table which is really tall, and only the width of one of the squares and it will go in my guest bathroom. They didn't have the actual pic.

This isn't our exact couch, but we did get a sectional. It had recliners on either end with real big arm rests! It is a lite khaki color. This was the closest I could find!

It's Official

The realtor came last night and today our house is officially on the market. You may ask why our sign is sitting against a tree? Thanks to good old Indiana weather our ground is frozen and the sign won't stick in the ground and me being so anxious, I wanted it outside somehow! Hopefully we'll start getting calls.

Selling

I guess I should've posted this too. We are selling our house so that I can be closer to work. Now that I am officially going to be full time next year the drive is kinda long. Especially with the price of gas. We weren't going to list until April/May, but our neighbor is selling his, so we want to capitalize on that. Wish us luck! We are looking to move Cedar Lake/Lowell/Crown Point area.
